SWISH 3 DVD Hits ALL the Points!
If you do not know, our great shooting is a credit to learning most ( if not all
) of these ideas we bring to you guys onto YouTube from Tom Nordland, the founder of SWISH. He was like a saviour back in our poor shooting days; he would bring to us a fresh look at shooting from a perspective that would make us scratch our heads. However, attempting and trying out his suggestions really deepened our understanding of what mattered in shooting. As a result, we became the best shooters on our high school team during varsity.
Now, he is going to be back with his new DVD: SWISH 3.
I was able to obtain an advanced copy of SWISH 3 from Tom (thanks, Tom!). I watched it several times before trying out his new suggestions. I won’t reveal them all here, because I want you to support Tom and purchase and watch his DVD, and then try them out yourself.
But I’ll give you one suggestion that Eugene has learned from Tom’s new work and has applied to his shooting already. That is, one piece shooting, where the setting and release of the ball does not have a hitch or stop. Rather, one continuous flowing movement before the release. This creates inertia before the release, which helps keep the ball in line and in motion before it gets out of the hands straight to the rim. Kind of like how Golden State’s Stephen Curry shoots
Tom also talks more about how to prepare and ideally shoot a free throw shot. It was an interesting part of the video that differed from the other two previous videos he had.
Did I also mention his video has many new different camera angles and the quality of the picture has much improved from the previous two videos?
Overall, his DVD hits all the points needed that matter in pure shooting. That’s what counts, guys; teaching what matters to great and easy shooting. No squaring up, thousand-of-shots-required preaches, or shooting from xyz fingers were mentioned!
You can purchase it NOW…by clicking HERE (directs you to Tom’s website). See ya later.
